REVIEW – Cuddledry Apron Towel

Eden has always been a big fan of the bath. Once we got the temperature right, she’s been happy to splash around and get nice and clean. The only problem we’ve had is that as soon as she comes out of her toasty bath, she screams the place down! We were looking for a solution to keep her nice and warm until she was dressed again – enter Cuddledry Apron Towels.

Cuddledry is a towel that you can wear while baby is in the bath, and then once they’re done you bundle them up in the nice warm towel and cuddle them dry. Eden keeps warm  and I get cuddles – that’s win/win right?

13124621_10156793787385580_4688517056660426305_nWe picked up a Cuddledry towel (in Pink Polka Dot of course) at the Baby show, and I couldn’t wait to get home and try it out. They’re made of pure cotton and natural, staysoft bamboo fibre so unlike other towels, they retain their softness without much work at all. They’re competitively priced and a lovely size to wrap up baby in.

Now that we’re trying solids, Eden quite often gets covered head to foot in various foods, which are of course usually orange. This usually leads to us running her upstairs and bathing her, because no amount of baby wipes will fix baby food in the eyebrows. edentowel

We have a play and a splash in the bath and then it’s time to get dry. This used to fill me with dread because MAN did that girl scream?! We tried EVERYTHING when she was small. We tried putting the heating on high, putting her towel and clothes on the radiator while we bathed her, literally everything. So I figured an apron towel was worth a go.

How happy was I, when the first time we used it there was not a peep from the young lady. She came out of the tub, got snuggled up with mummy and stayed nice and warm and scream free until she was dressed again. We considered that maybe it was a fluke, but nope! Every single time we have used the Cuddledry towel apron instead of a towel, she has been an absolute joy after the bath. It’s made the getting dressed again time just as lovely as the bathing time.

I look forward to trying some of the other Cuddledry products as Eden grows. I love that they’re good quality products and I love that they mean you don’t have to awkwardly hold a towel between your teeth whilst lifting baby out of the bath and praying you don’t drop her. I love the material and am looking forward to investing in a toddler robe or two when Eden is a bit bigger. These have easily been added to my list of baby essentials and I would consider one as a gift for friends having babies. They’re fab!

She is just divine! That last photo is gorgeous. The towel looks a very good idea too. Anything that promotes cuddles is a win in my book!! 🙂 Thanks for linking up with us. #bigpinklink
